It's like people where to scared to say that they didn't like it, just because it was Christopher Nolan. We need to stand up and tell the people! THIS FILM WAS LAME!
And thank you for overanalyzing what I said, read again. Did I say TDKR was flawless? No. Did I say your opinion is pointless? No. Did I say you can't fathom Nolan's genius? No. I'm not even talking about the fault part which doesn't make any sense.
And thank you for taking my clearly sarcastic comment as "over analysing".
And yes, you did say my opinion is pointless. You said that "it wasn't lame. You didn't like it". You're saying that I am wrong for thinking that it was a bad film. That because I didn't enjoy the film that much the fault must lie with me and not the film thus making any opinion I form on the film to be invalid.
The fact is, that my opinion of the film is that it is lame. You may not like that, you may not respect that but you have to realize that I am entitled to that opinion.
And if I've "over analysed" you first comment again, then please enlighten me and tell me what you meant?
If you're entitled to that opinion, don't enunciate it as a truth then. My point was just for you to clearly say you didn't like it, don't you get that? Stop overreacting, I've never said your opinion was pointless. Jesus, what a crappy overanalyze you're making here.
What do you mean, "if" I'm entitled to that opinion. Of course I am. And why shouldn't I say that like it's the truth? I'll state what I want. If I'm not allowed to say the films bad then by that logic you're not allowed to say that it's good because that's not a fact either. Only that you THINK it's good. And that maybe true but do you really correct someone every time they say "I hate coffee" to "No, you just think you don't like coffee."?
I agree that everyone has views that are different and I never said everyone who likes the film is wrong. (In my clearly joking comment). Does the fact that I don't like it make you like it less? I'f I want to say it's bad you can't stop me just like I can't stop you from saying you like it. Think about what you're saying.
Now how's that for over analysing? Can you tell I'm studying philosophy?
And don't swear. You've lowered the whole tone of this internet argument about Batman. (Now that was sarcasm, just so you know.)
also love the pic XP
Thank you for reminding me of how my opinion is completely pointless when it comes to a flawless film like Dark Knight Rises!
